Job 10:12 BBE You have been kind to me, and your grace has been with me, and your care has kept my spirit safe.
Rules, regulations and punishments are easy for people to understand and manage, but God’s grace is anything but. David was the writer of many psalms, became David the adulterer, but by God’s grace became the writer of psalms again. A man after God’s own heart.
Peter denied Christ and then preached Christ. Paul the destroyer of Christ’s community, by God’s grace became the major writer of the New Testament. The thief on the cross headed to hell one moment and bound for heaven the next. We need to understand that God is looking for ways to get us home and not ways to keep us out. No one ever came to God seeking grace and did not find it.
